I know there is a tcl script for eggdrop that echoes new posts on a vbulletin forum to irc channels of your choise.
I have not found a script that can do the same for mybb sadly. My tcl/php scripting abilities do not permit me to build a script for that on my own.
Idealy this script would give you the choise of

• which parts of the forum are echoed
  
• which channel the posts are echoed
  

Is there anybody who would take up the challenge and create a tcl + php/sql script that can do this?

i use the rssfeed for the moment to echo new topics/posts on irc, just search for a rssreader-tcl and add your rsspages to it

That is not a bad idea. I found a script that can do just that. I'll keep you informed on my progress

hello, i'm looking for a irc-plugin like that.
perhaps someone can give me a link to such a plugin? or atleast to "rssreader tcl". thats says nothing to me.
