Although the content of WBB isn't allowed on here, the fact that it has been compromised makes this quite a point for discussion.

It is quite amazing to think that such a large site 'got hacked'. I cannot remember exact figures (anyone?), but users were in the millions.

IIRC, it was running phpBB.

Its an illegal website, it shouldn't be discussed here or linked. So I believe anyway.

they are in conversion process so that may be they cause for getting hacked. and they run phpbb 2

There isn't much to discuss here, sites get hacked all the time and is nothing new. To be honest if you're distributing illegal files you shouldn't be surprised if you get hacked. Could happen to anyone though. The fact they run phpBB could be largely irrelevant.

Why don't you read the thread and see that i tried to deal with that issue. Instead of closing this down, see that what has happened is that one of the biggest forums on the net has been compromised; a forum running what could be considered a MyBB competitor.

This should be interesting, and a reminder, to all webmasters.
