I read this blog the other day actually, as it was linked to me by a friend. The most interesting part was "Spam Ninja", a plugin that was apparently going to be released later this year, seeing as it's December 24th (Happy Xmas Eve Everyone) I thought I'd ask if this is still happening, or has it been scrapped?
Spam is still a massive problem for most MyBB boards if not all of them, so will be interesting to see this feature created.

It is still happening but there is no set date for when it will be released. This is why we don't really set release dates, we just get people asking about it when it's not released when we said. It will be released when it is finished and ready for release, like everything else we release.
Cool. Having a Ninja against spam might be cool. When will a Chuck Norris version be released?

Understandable. Please don't get the impression I was moaning though, lol. I was simply asking because there WAS a release date for later this year, and it could just be a feature included into 2.0 instead of 1.6. Thanks for the reply.

And I think that a lot of people would prefer in 1.6...
