MyBB Community Forums

So, I was changing the permissions on a few forums and moving them into a category and I got all that done and arranged them. I was just putting all the forums in one category.

Everything moved fine and everything was going fine.

I then rearranged them into the order I wanted them to goto. Everything worked out fine again.

So I deleted the old category that all the forums useto be in (which was empty). Thats where it got weird.

All the forums I moved, and some that werent even in that old category just disappeared! It's crazy.

Is there anything that could have caused this? I'm sure 100% that I didn't delete the category that I moved the forums into.

This is a known bug in 1.1.x. I believe it is fixed in 1.2.

that didnt work for me.

i ended up manually recreating the forums and linking them to the posts and blah blah blah.

Well it won't do you any good to run the file after your forums were accidentally deleted by this bug. In the future, run the file attached in the thread Ryan posted every time you move a forum to a new category.
