The Shoutbox by Nervo is loading slow on page.
The Chang Shoutbox is having bugs like imposters.

Are there shoutbox that are better?

basically its better to not use any shoutbox !
OR have a separate page for shoutbox - do not embed it on forum pages ..

MyShoutbox by Pirata Nervo should work. You're probably missing jscript files.

Shoutbox will reduce the number of posts on your site as users will rather just post in the SHoutbox rather than make a thread.
