Hi,

When I back-up my database using zipcompression I get a "archive damaged" error..

When I back it up with the "normal" (noone) file size, there isn't a problem.

What could be the problem here?

I assume you are using phpMyAdmin. Have you tried using the gzip compression?

If you are using PHPMyAdmin to backup as a ZIP file, you'll need to contact them about it. We do not support PHPMyAdmin.

Yeah, but I thought it was a (mybb) database problem, since g-zipcompression works.

Try to open the .zip in notepad and see if at the end of the file there's a PHP error "Out of Memory" or something like that.

I don't find any errors..

But the gzip back-up is a good one, isn't it?
