Depends on a lot of factors that you didn't specify. Like an ad in the footer of the wiki only isn't going to earn that much.

I wouldn't mind if there were a couple ads on this site if they're going to be that profitable.
We wouldn't put ads on the community unless we desperately needed to. Currently we already have Text Link Ads on the home page ($90 a month for a spot).
