I am going to upgrade 1.6.5 . as far as i know i have to replace functions.php with new version file. Where is 1.6.5 version file for google seo ?

current version is 1.6.4
Just close your board, disable google SEO, and upload the new files.
You can then go into the ACP > plugins > and click "Apply changes to core files"
This only works if you are using Google SEO 1.6.2 (the one that is current, not legacy, and works better with 1.6.4)
Otherwise, find/replace in a code editor.

So i upgrade forum. install 1.6.2 and put 1.6.2 functions.php file am i correct ?
nope just deactivate the google seo first and upload the new one.. and activate it again and it will run the new version automatically
1.6.2 can modify functions.php from the ACP with one click.
Yes, it works great with 1.6.5. Install it before upgrade though, just to be safe.
