I get those random spam things where it's just random keywords. I'm assuming it's from one of those SEO programs like Scrapebox or something.
Does anyone have any tips on preventing it?
1605 solved 99% of all my spam! If you're not on version 1605 yet then you need to get on it! I also recommend the Hot Words plugin (mybb central) as it helps also.

Just get and enable those, enable reCaptcha, name that honeypot field something that might be tempting to them.
Recommendation: set some custom questions for the Registration Security Question plugin. Mix numbers, words, and symbols in.

By now,your spam should be dead - or at least, almost dead. There is the odd bot here and there, but that's what the goodbye spammer mod is for.

Set the members group so they require at least 10 post counts before they can post hyperlinks.
