I copied the portal announcements and put it on the index and its just showing up, but not showing announcements. Help?

I copied in templates the "portal announcements" and put it in my homepage (the forum) and its just showing up, no announcements are showing up.

Unfortunately you're going to have to be more specific (what exact code did you copy?). Link to the page or screenshot?
