Happy New Year!

I'm trying to install myBB. For the record:

- I'm with iPower (who run mySQL 5.0.45)
- I'm attempting to install myBB version 1.6.5
- I'm computer literate, just

I have many domains hosted, so I set up a specific subdomain folder for my intended forum (public_html/mysixweeks). I intend for my forum to be the only thing on my site (www.mysixweeks.com).

I've transferred the files via Filezilla, and they seem to be in the folder I intended. When I go to my URL, I get a blank screen, with a small 0 (zero) in the top left corner.

Any ideas? Apologies if I'm doing something so fundamentally wrong that it makes you want to pray for me Angel

Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Printscreen of your FTP client showing where you've put the files?? The 0 being outputting isn't being done by MyBB.
@Matt, seems he hasn't installed the forum yet. Furthermore, there could be issues with file permissions.
@venice, try to go to yourdomain.com/install/
I think it's fairly obvious the forum hasn't been installed yet considering the title and entire first post is about installing, and if you try going to http://www.mysixweeks.com/install or http://www.mysixweeks.com/mysixweeks/install it doesn't show the installer, hence me asking for a printscreen of where the files are.
Hmm I see, weird issue though. Yes I see it, there is a 0 there. When I view the page source, just a 0 in line 1. I still think either the OP hasn't uploaded the files correctly, or it's an issue with file permissions.
[attachment=25202]Thanks guys,

I've tried the mysixweeks.com/install thing to no avail. I've attached a screenshot of where the files ended up.

This is confusing to me. Why setup a subdomain and put the forum in there, but then decide you want to use it as a regular domain?
This is a supposed 502 error, had that experience just a few days ago (tried to install ffmpeg over an existing ffmpeg installation Smile). Or perhaps a 500. Don't know, the internal server error. The directory shows that you have correctly copied over the files. Contact your host and tell them the issue. Hopefully they will get it fixed.
@Matt, I agree, see how the page redirects? It should show at least the source code of index.php if not display it.
But I am still not sure why i get a 404 error when i try to access http://www.mysixweeks.com/mysixweeks
It seems the OP posted this picture before copying over to the root directory.
http://www.mysixweeks.com/install/

Working for me, now you just need to follow the installation process.

And considering that I'm a writer, apologies for the awful typos and grammar in my post! It's the excitement you see.
