MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
1153 - Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes
Query:
INSERT INTO mybb_searchlog (sid,uid,dateline,ipaddress,threads,posts,resulttype,querycache,keywords) VALUES
.....


I get this error, when I try to search for a word.

Any help?

You'll need to ask your host about this.

Ask your host to increase max_allowed_packet size.

i am getting the same error. it started i messed up with file permissions in cpanel i think.

i'll ask my host.
