Hello! MyBB Team. Thanks for all the Work. I've install MyBB 1.6.5 on this site : http://gaming.elementfx.com

I am Recoder, Super Admin There.

This site is also intended for learning the use of MyBB

Notes: All files are CHMOD, Writable, Tried Deactivating All Plugin

I was just facing a little problem while making a forum announcements. When ever I try to make a Forum Announcements, the Announcements is made properly, but the The Announcement is not shown in the Forum. Everything is proper. Date is also ok. did not change the date at all.

I made the Forum Announcements through Forums & Posts --> Forum Announcements. It says The selected announcement has been created successfully.

But the Announcements do not appear in the Forum. Its a Global Forum Rules

Thanks to all for helping me.
Anyone who helps me he is sure to get a +1. Smile

Thanks,
Recoder Smile
Download this file and overwrite the old forumdisplay.php located in your forum root.
OK Tried, but when i tried to enter a forum it gave a error. Check it out now http://gaming.elementfx.com/forumdisplay.php?fid=2

Gaming.elementfx.com Wrote:Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_ENCAPSED_AND_WHITESPACE, expecting T_STRING or T_VARIABLE or T_NUM_STRING in /home/gamingel/public_html/forumdisplay.php(1287) : eval()'d code on line 72
Can you post your forumdisplay template here?
OK, I managed to redo it again Thanks, Its Working Now properly.

Thanks.

But could you please tell me what was the problem with the original one. I'm sure it was not damaged. I didn't modify it. OR MyBB 1.6.5 has that problem.
I had the same problem, 1.6.5. The updated file fixed it, but if this is widespread it might be worth it to make a global patch?
It is a glitch in MyBB 1.6.5. It will be fixed in 1.6.6.
I'm pretty sure you have to download and older version of MyBB and replace forumdisplay.

You can download older versions of MyBB at http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/Versions

No, you should NEVER use old files on your forum. That's how things break.
Yay for this fix Smile
