This is my first ever attempt at making my own theme and was wondering what everyone else thought about it and how it can be improved ?

I don't really like the orange...but then again I don't like seeing orange in any site 
However, the rest of the theme is good. For a first attempt you have done very well! I suggest you try and improve the black bits, and the border colors because they seem to stand out in a way you don't want them to.
Your images are very good!

As I have said many times before.
A change of color, gradient fills, and a few mods doesn't make for a very original theme.
Although you do make good use out of Forum Descriptions. (Talking about your "Message" forum)
It is a good attempt, but try some original things, instead of MyBB's default templates.
