A Drop Down Menu actually isn't all that hard to do, I'd suggest doing it yourself, simply because it's a good learning experience and you'd have full customizing control & knowledge.

In the templates, find the "Header" template, and play with that.
I'd recommend installing a duplicate copy of your main theme where only you can access - so any mistakes you make, no one can see.
