Why don't the images for new/ no new posts render in Firefox?

Works fine for me on FF 8.0 on Fedora.

What does it say when you go here? http://azbird.net/sightings/images/on.gif

^ may be your firefox browser is set to not show images OR it could be browser cache issue ..

All working now - apparently it was just a browser fart / caching issue.
