Hey guys, I'm looking for a way to force certain usergroups to register to certain forums by default. Is this at all possible please?

My website is designed in a way that certain usergroups have access to particular forums. I'd like to extend this feature by making forum subscriptions group registrations for these usergroups default. Please let me know if this can be done, and if it can, how to do it. Thanks a lot guys- really appreciate it!

Could you be more clear how this plugin will help in auto subscription of forums, I also want this.
This plugin will only change user group that's what I understand.

My apologies. When I posted, I was searching for group registrations and not subscriptions (I have since corrected my post above).

I run a closed community student forum. I wanted students to be able to register to their year of study, allowing access to that year's forum. The plugin I found was exactly what I needed. I see that Goggalor has linked you to what you probably need- really good post.
