Hi, i checked my forum SEO and i want to know how to improve it, i have google SEO 1.6.2 plugin installed but i have some errors under the index.

I dont have any description or keywords, whats the best way to add it only to the index so google seo can generate descriptions to threads?

I dont have any H1 and h2 tag under the index, should my theme had this?

Inside a thread the title needs to be H1 right?

You lack content. Don't put too much attention to plugins and modifications.

I know that i need more content, im working on it, but i also know that i can improve SEO with better descriptions, titles and keywords and trust me this can make a bit difference, something like 2nd page on google to first page and this makes difference to me.

If you know how to improve the homepage description please say.

You can edit the index template to add a description to index. <h1> tags if you want them also have to be done through templates.

You'll need to edit a bunch of templates, for example in forumdisplay_threadlist you'd probably want them around the forum name:

<h1>{$foruminfo['name']}</h1>
