I'm trying to take away the color/border surrounding the header and footer. The links below show what I'm talking about

My background is fixed and the parts shown move with the scrolling.

My best guess is that the widths for those elements will be set to 100% in your global CSS, so take a look in there and set them to the same width and the main section.

I've changed all the "100%" I could find to 0% and the top and bottom parts weren't there. Instead, other parts were changed.
