I'm not sure if this is a browser problem but when I highlight a group of text or even a single word, then click on a bbcode button, it does not wrap the text with the bbcode but rather place a starting bbcode tag at the very first character of your post and you have to close the bbcode manually..

example, I want to place a bold bbcode to the world fox:

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

I highlight the word fox and presses on the "B" button on the toolbar, but what happens is:

[b]The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.

Any solutions for this?

I'm using Chrome for my browser and myBB 1.6.5.

check for changed / corrupt files through file verification tool from tools & maintenance section of admin panel ..

if all files are alright then try a different browser / post a test user account ..
