I uploaded all files to images folder and import .xml. But this is how my site looks.

check CHMOD of ./images/portal2/ folder and its files ; also check CHMOD for ./cache/themes/ and its subfolders

What's a Portal? I've just started a forum and I'm way into the newbie status LOL

Some themes show a Portal and others don't :/

^ fedidaido was referring to a theme . your required portal is a page on your forum available at forumURL/portal.php (eg.)
