Banner idea is good.
May be a header message stating that site will be closed can be posted on forums from today.
If mybb does this it would be a reputation advantage over internet

Maybe just the homepage, with a link to the essentenal services.

MyBB should participate in this.

Definitely do something, like have a pop up or something on the day. Great to see some big sites going down.

Then again, no one can get into the server to change things can they?

A STOP SOPA banner would be nice. Simple and unobtrusive, but noticeable.

I think it should be as intrusive as possible. People around the world need to know about this. Not only will this affect the US, but also the rest of the world.
