I am trying to upload myBB on SmartFTP, but there are so many files to upload that it's taking forever! Does someone know if it is possible to upload more than one file at a time or even a whole folder?

In SmartFTP you can drag folders from your Local Browser window to the FTP server window. By clicking on multiple files while pressing the CTRL-key you can select multiple files and drag and drop them at once

No, I have SmartFTP myself and just tested it.

Just connect to your FTP server and open a Local browser window. Both will appear on the Window Bar. Go to the Local browser window and drag the folder to the button of your FTP server on the Window Bar. The FTP server file structure will display. You can then release the mouse button (drop the folder) there where you want it to go (in the public_html folder for example)

Thank you so much! But I just wish I had known that before I wasted like a half hour or like 40 minutes trying to upload each file one by one lol.

Ok I uploaded it all, but it won't appear on my website! It is a forum only website, so do I have to change a URL or something? If you want to see what comes up go to www.dhost.info/pokeforum

ok, delete all the files again, and multi-upload them know you know how to. then go to inc/ folder and look for settings.php and config.php, right click then, look for CHMOD and make them 666?

Then navigate to www.dhost.info/pokeforum/install/ and follow all the instructions. Once finished, delete the install directory. and navigate to www.dhost.info/pokeforum/
