First off, I might be missing how I can turn this on or off.

Second----If everyone is allowed to post their web site url's in their profiles would this tend to help a forum do better in the search engines even if the "member" is a spammer? Eg. Someone comes to my Looking Glass Online Magazine forum and posts the url to his web site selling viagra. Later someone googles "viagra" and winds up getting to my forum?

Third----I believe that one's ability to post his own web site in my forum is a privilege that needs to be earned. As it is more than half those registering for my forum post their web site url's. Over 90 percent of these people have not contributed a single post. Most of them are spammers. The way things stand now whenever anyone posts his url in his profile I either delete it, change it, send the traffic elsewhere or scramble it. As for putting url's in signatures I have this feature disabled.

In a future release I'd like to see a feature where the administrator has the option between disallowing or allowing web site url's being placed in members' profiles and that they can select a mandatory number of posts a new member must make before he can add his url into his profile.

Many thanks. Works like a charm, "knock on wood." And it took me less than 15 minutes to fully implement it.
