MyBB Community Forums

So I'm an admin on a forum running MyBB 1.6.1. We get tons of spam bots. Is there anything I can do to help stop them from registering? Don't suggest updating MyBB, since the owner doesn't visit the forum as he's busy and I don't have file access.

Any ideas what I could do from the admin cp?

unsure what can be done as you do not have access to files ; do you have plugin uploader installed & if you have it then do you have access ..

No. We don't.

You can't stop them without file access.
