Hi folks. I'd like to be able to include the Clickable Smilies in my quickreply section (where they don't currently appear). How would I go about doing this?

you can try this tutorial : add smilies inserter in quickreply area ; see also this response AND its following post ..

this plugin may work. the post with the modded plugin that I added icon posts.

but no guarantee that it will work on your forums.
some people have problems with it on mybb 1.6.x
