my new version 1.6.5 does'nt show anouncements . Why ?

is there any problem with anouncements in this version?

Fixed in [Issue #1785].

You can either wait for the next release, or download forumdisplay.php from the repo and overwrite the 1.6.5 version.

Out of curiosity what "Announcements" are you talking about?

I overwrote the the file but it didn't work

It should work. It's worked for me and numerous other users.

Make sure it's definitely overwritten.
