MyStatus is a simple system to allow user status updates on your forum. It takes the overall idea from IPB's stock status system, but is not currently quite as fully featured.
Features
- AJAX based status updating and deleting
- Latest status updates shown on index page and profile. Postbit support is planned.
- Makes use of the language and template systems fully.
- Allows user status updates to be pushed to Twitter

It sure is. There shouldn't be any issues with this version *crosses fingers*
I shall certainly be trying it as the other plugin was great, any plans to add comments in a future version.
There are certainly plans, I'm just trying to add it without causing an excessive amount of extra queries. All past tests have resulted in tons of extra queries. If you watch the GitHub repository, you'll be able to see my progress on development
I built a similar plugin for a customer a few days ago, it had "Like" feature integrated though, but I must say that you've few other things greatly setup-ed!
