I uploaded myBB. Eveything seemed to work ok. Lost password. Had them reassign me new password and then could not get in as admin. Took eveything off and reuploaded still no luck. Downloaded closed my database and created another one. Still no luck. Any help will be appeciated.

Thanks,
Mike

If I log in it says I'm logged in and it sends me back to where I was and it still says hello guest Login or register. I checked the member list and me and my wife is there. I have tried hers and same thing.

Thanks,
Mike
I forgot to tell you when I go to log in there is already something in the password.
Have yuo tried following the steps here:

Login/Logout problems? PLEASE READ

Mainly:
You can view your current cookie settings by viewing the source code from a page of your forum. If your cookie settings are wrong, you probably won't be able to change them in the ACP as you may not be able to stay logged in. If this is the case, in order to change them, find a way to open and edit ./inc/settings.php and edit the new values into the file. Then, you MUST go to 'ACP > Configuration > General Configuration' and make the change here too. This is because although editing the file will make you able to log in, the settings aren't updated in the database, and when you next save any settings in the ACP, the old settings will come back.

I really appreciate the help I believed that solve the problem. The other problem I have is it showing the wrong date. I changed it in the time setting but it sill shows the old time.

Thanks
You may need to change it in your user cp too Wink
