Looking for a bit of support here.

I have hosting with x10hosting and haven't had any issues with them before.

When registering I have it set that you need to activate via email link. I don't seem to be getting any emails. Have tried a few test accounts with various different email address such as msn, hotmail.com, hotmail.co.uk, gmail but the email just isn't coming. And it's NOT in the Junk Mail.

The email settings was using PHP.

I'm just going to try the email setting on SMTP and hope that it has a positive effect.

Why wouldn't it work using the PHP setting?

If it doesn't goes fine then it is your host issue.

Well it said it sent fine.

I've changed settings to smtp instead. Followed what it said in that Wiki and it appears now to be working.
