when i banned an IP address i went back to my index page of the board i get this above the banner

delete everything in line 799
or
remove "(" , ")"
or
download mybb again and replace only functions.php
i replaced functions.php with a new one and nothing
I think guests are having trouble registering, also.

Now I can't log-in, and I just tried registering as if I was a guest and the confirmation number doesn't show up, so that's why we haven't been getting any new members.
Can you remove the IP ban and see if the error still exists?
i removed the banned IP and the error still shows
