I had to go and manually edit out the remote avatar part of the usercp for one reason, they're not adhering to the width/height maximums. They break out and take over the entire forum. Sad. This is a fresh installation of MyBB. How can we fix this?

I even tried on a test forum, the avatars break out if larger than the maximum if used via remote avatar. The remote avatar thing does't even force a certain size. :/
that is odd since MyBB will download a temp copy of the avatar when the user specifies a remote file and then obtain the file specs on it for dimensions and size, then delete the temp file.

if the dimensions are too large, it should be not allowing the file.
Tried a fresh install of MYBB. Default avatar size is 70x70. But, nope, it's not resizing at all. Sad It works fine if I edit the remote url part out of the templates and have everyone upload their own.
its not supposed to resize a remote avatar, its only supposed to see if it is too big and then give a message that it is too big and not store the URL of the avatar
The problem with remote avatars is that the remote file can change at any time.
Is there any way I can fix it? It's not doing that. Sad If I use an image like http://i1122.photobucket.com/albums/l537.../costa.jpg It shows as the full width :/

However, some users say they got "Sorry but we cannot change your avatar as the new avatar you specified is too big. The maximum dimensions are 75x75 (width x height)" the other half isn't getting the error at all. :/ We're having to go through and manually resizing them.
I just tried using that avatar at my site and it's telling me that it is too big.
