Myself and a lot of members have noted that the post counters in thread seem to mess up a lot.
It will say there is a new page, but when clicked on it can't be found etc.
I think most of the times problems are caused when someone deletes a post, and the post counters in the thread do not update to match.
When I Recount & Rebuild the counters it is fixed for a while, until deletions happen again!
I should also note I do have the Trash Can forum plugin, where all deleted posts and threads go to a hidden forum incase they were deleted by accident, so they can be restored etc.
Is there a way to stop this happening? Is there an option to recount / rebuild automatically on a regular basis?
