Hi all

Im looking to add a wordpress website to my forums but want to do the following:

wordpress website on one domain name and the forum on another domain name, but what i want is that certain threads created on the forums will be published onto the wordpress website, so is there a working bridge to connect the two?

Just do a little sql change in wordpress!
I wouldn't change the database for MyBB because it's a bit sensitive.

I was wondering if there was a plugin for it as im not that good at doing tweaks like that.

It brings up WordBB but this does the opposite to what i want to do. WordBB creates a thread on the forum for every post made in wordpress, where i want threads from certain forum sections to show on wordpress.

Why don't you just use the portal?

I tried portal but the threads i created looked messy on the portal page which i dont like

move your mybb forums to yoursite,com/subdomain-name
make the wordpress on whereevr you want it to be

I know how to move stuff but how would putting the forums in a sub folder and wordpress in the main directory help? i still have the problem of linking the two.

I want it so that when i create a thread in a certain part of the forums it will show up on the wordpress site.

sorry i misread what you wanted why dont you use prostats xml file and put an iframe on the wordpress site to the xml file
