So how do you do this?

I have removed the editor from post reply, but someone has found and is using short codes and they are still working

Other than changing all the short codes in the admin, is there a way to just disabled them altogether?

ACP > Configurations > Clickable Smilies and BB Code > Clickable Smilies Inserter > Off.

I've done that already, but if using the short codes directly, the Smilies still work

Just goto Admin CP > Configuration > Smilies

delete all the smilies

That is what I have actually done... didn't seem a logical way though - but I guess I don't know how these things work
