When we create a new forum there should be a column there where we can add a custom forum icon if we want for that specific forum.
+1 for this idea. Though people might argue about increase in page loading time, this feature is used by many MyBB users. So a default MyBB feature for this would be good.
Thanks Kalvin and also the plugins for Custom icons dont work well so this can really be good.
I'm not really for or against having this, as I don't know if many people would use it.

The plugin only accepts .gif image even after adding it ,it does not works on each forum.
It works for me, I just tried it. I'll try to update it in the near future to work better.
Not against this, even though I'm sure I won't use it, because it doesn't fit my field, but I guess that it would be good for anime/cartoon/general forums..
I could see myself using this... I'll have to try the plugin soon...

Just give the .png (Or whatever type you're using) a .gif extension in your FTP program.
gif images mess up transparency and stuff.
