May i know where do all my thread , post , user & other stuff like this is store? Cause i wanna transfer my old stuff away & add in my new stuff.
They're stored in the database you specified during it's installation.
So if i use the same database , And i use another file. It will still be there?

Okay basically, I want to make a new forum. But i want to keep my old user , thread & post.
If you don't care about the old forum, then your best option would be to install MyBB and change the database name in ./config.php to the old database name.
I don't understand. why not just change the name of the board and stuff and not reinstall just to change back to the exact database you used before.
Oh what if i wish to keep my old forum for any case of trouble , what should i do ?
If i change my database to my old data base will my thread be there?
^ if you make a new forum and connect it with old database then your earlier threads , posts & users will be available .
however required plugins have to be re-installed ...
