How to add 'pagination' to homepage list of categories and forums, for limit need to scroll down page extensively ?

may be better to use tabs based categories .. see mytabs plugin (now it is safe to use) & Tabbed forum with jQuery

Thank you for the alternative suggestion.
Actually, have looked at some of the options, and would like to try setting the category display at collapsed as a default display.
When users open (or refresh) the main page there would be a very obvious button with text to tell them to click to see the forums under the category/s.
The respective forum lists are quite extensive, and believe this (collapsed view) may help keep the homepage as simple as possible in this case.
If possible, where might find info about ?

Ps: There seems to be a similar (unanswered?) question, in the archive, at http://community.mybb.com/archive/index....49485.html.

Not totally giving up on pagination, but seem like it might not work as well, as you indicated, for users.
