I need to change the settings to where you need to activate your account via e-mail. I am new to MYBB so I am not positive where to do this, can someone please tell me?
Also, how do I install themes?
ACP > Configuration > User Registration and Profile Options > Registration Method > Send Email Verification

^ Just to add since your new to mybb you need to create either an email account with someone ie GMail and setup an smtp server
It will require
Hostname: smtp.gmail.com
Use: SSL
Port: 465
And your username and password
Or you can use php mail
{this needs to be activated via your host)
Edit all these options in AdminCP < Configuration < Mail Settings
Also to get the smtp server of another email provider just google it
