I want my mods to be able to lock threads and edit threads and move and all that stuff but I don't want them to be able to view IP adresses that were logged.
How would i go about doing this? ive tried many things and i cant seem to get anything done.
Hmm, as far as I can tell, they can't view IP's, only Super Mods can.
Edit: For a full list of can and cannot's for each group, go to Admin CP > Users and Groups > Manage Groups > Choose a group, and edit it.
see thats the problem, if i dont put my mods as super mods they cant do anything. unless someone can explain to me how to assign mods to specific sections or make it so they can actually lock threads
You can add moderators by clicking the name of the forum inside the "Forum Management" page, which will take you to a page - click "Add Moderator" on that page.
