Can someone tell what is the source of such problem I created 2 subforum have checked all setting I could think of yet none of the sub forums are showing.
I have done the following
ACP >> Configuration >> Settings >> Forum Home Options >> Subforums to show on Index listing
then set the number to 3 (I only have 2 sub forums)
forumbit_deapth2_forum template is my default & I have not edited anything.
I even tried rebuilding cache but that does not help either.
I assume this problem must have been resolved can you tell me Yaldaram the solution please?

Possible causes may be;
The permissions were not set properly.
Usergroups are not allowed to view those sub-forums.
"forumbit_subforums" template is empty or any issue there.

Thanks Yaldaram for the answers
Before I request further help I have done a check on permissions.
[attachment=26726]
{$lang->subforums} {$sub_forums}
any other issue yes it could be there but cant find out what.

Quote:The permissions were not set properly.Permissions are all inherited from category> forum> sub forum & I have checked many times see screenshot.

Quote:Usergroups are not allowed to view those sub-forums.As seen in the screenshot registered users are given all permissions, for category> forum> sub forum as they all inherited. Mine is a members only forum so the guest can only view main page but not the threads.
Quote:"forumbit_subforums" template is empty or any issue there.Its not empty but only 1 line code is there as follows (is that correct?)
{$lang->subforums} {$sub_forums}
any other issue yes it could be there but cant find out what.

Can someone help me with this please I cant see new sub forums I have checked permissions where ever I can but cant figure out what is set wrong.
I cant find that thread but remember there is a private section where members can post details so the support staff can have a look to sort out the issue.
Can some one point me in right direction please?
