I'd like to suggest a new option for custom profile fields slectboxes
the ability to add a blank option or a not valid option when a custom field it is set to be require in registration process.
For example:
let's take the location field.
I want to set this field to be required on registration page, but I don't want that this field to be a textbox, I want this to be a selectbox from a user can select a country from a list I declare in admin cp.
If I require this field to be completed on the registration process the user will pass this easily because mybb it shows him the first option from the list I declar in admin cp and if he hits the register buton no error will occur because the field is completed.
So, it would be nice if mybb can let the administrator to declare a default not valid option that it is showed on the registration process and if the user don't select a option from the list it gets an error or simply the ability to add a blank option.
