First, I know there is an option to stop replies nesting but is there an option to stop it happening in PMs?

Second, is there a way to tell which forum member is using which theme?

Unfortunately, you can't stop them on Private Messages.

Second: There is a plugin called ThemePeek. This will tell you who is using what theme.

I've installed it, but nothing shows.

^ if you are using MyBB 1.6.5 then the plugin file(s) might require little editing !!

After you install it, you have to go to the Admin CP and click on Configuration and then Plugins on the lefthand side to activate it.

Then you can find it under Templates & Styles on the lefthand side below the Templates and Themes.
