Hi,
Checking in my ACP I noticed the UTF-8 Conversion option. Looking down the list approx 90% of the list states to convert.
My queries are:

My queries are:
- Is this necessary? I do have old posts that display wrong characters in some instances.
- Are the negative side effects?
- If it goes wrong, can anything be done to fix it?
