Hello mybb'rs

I have a problem i want to make a drop down menu for the mybb theme called "Pro Navy".

the only problem is i dont know how to fix this issue i already tried it here: http://kompoos.nl/css/text-effects/drop-down-menu.html (Dutch version)
but this wont help it, it makes it more harder.....

Please do someone knows what is stable and working for a mybb theme?

im looking for a drop down menu with just a simple code for mybb so i dont have to add javascript or css cause it doesnt work....
