How do create the glass/mirror effect for a logo like below?
Any assistance would be nice.

If you are using Photoshop you can just do the following:
Duplicate the layer. Vertically flip the layer. Create a layer mask. Then use the gradient tool (in with the paint bucket) and create a gradient opacity by selecting the layer mask and filling it in with the gradient tool.
