So on the home page of my site a favicon of the Verizon Wireless logo has appeared. Don't know how or why. How can I get rid of this?
Thanks.
If it's the link in your sig then it's not there for me. This sometimes happens, it's just you.
Or maybe your host set it if you're on a free host.

Nope, paid hosting.

If I create a favicon for the site I assume it will override the one I see, yes?

If so how do I add it in?
Save the image as favicon.ico in forum root.
Clear your cache and stuff after. Overcaching happens a lot with Favicons

Not sure where you mean by forum root. Please clarify. Thanks.

I took it to mean the main directory listing when connected through FTP client. I did this and it didn't work.

ETA: Nevermind. It worked. Just needed time and cleared cache. Thanks.

In root means public_html dir (where files like showthread.php , index.php , etc exists).

Glad it worked in the end.
