Update:

I have a problem though, "Display posts using the classic layout" is not working

Hello guys
i got the clasic postbit style working but my NewPoints mod is out of place
Screenshot: http://prntscr.com/aakqc
also is there a way to disable that toggle texts and links color?
I want to use the darker one
I absolutely love this theme and some of the features it offers. I do have a couple of problems/questions that I'm hoping I can get worked out though.

When creating a new thread (or using a full reply), the text area is larger than it's supposed to be and covers up portions of the post options.

I don't know if it's a separate issue or part of the same, but the text alignment buttons are split as well and drop down, pushing the others over. This has also caused problems choosing a text color, as part of the text color box gets cut off because of the video link box.

When viewing a thread, the post reply button (or any other mod/admin button in that area) appears to float awkwardly in between the thread title bar and the post rating.

When quoting someone in a post, if the post being quoted was unread, it places a broken/partial "new" button in the header of the quote. Even if you'e gone back through and read the post after the quote, it still appears unless you take the pid and dateline out of the quote header.

That's all I've got for now, but my users have been combing things over pretty well and have been reporting anything else that they come across to me, so I may have some more items in the future.

Thanks for making a great theme Johnny, and I hope to hear something back.

New post indicatior (in forumdisplay) and jump to (in quoted post/s) are using the same image jump.gif.

Open forumdisplay_thread_gotounread template (under forumdisplay templates)

and replace all content with following one:

<a href="{$thread['newpostlink']}"><img class="vmiddle" src="{$theme['imgdir']}/new.png" alt="{$lang->goto_first_unread}" title="{$lang->goto_first_unread}" /></a>

Open global.css from BF3 theme and find

.quick_jump {
	background: url(../../../images/bf/jump.gif) no-repeat 0;
	width: 13px;
	height: 13px;
	padding-left: 13px; /* amount of padding needed for image to fully show */
	vertical-align: middle;
	border: none;
}

and replace it with

.quick_jump {
	background: url(../../../images/bf/jump.png) no-repeat 0;
	width: 13px;
	height: 13px;
	padding-left: 13px; /* amount of padding needed for image to fully show */
	vertical-align: middle;
	border: none;
}

save it.

Now upload jump.png and new.png from images.zip (attached in this post) to images/bf3 folder .

Did you do any edits to container width or texteditor width ?
On my localhost setup i don't have any issues with buttons aligment.

For textarea overlap try to apply following fix http://community.mybb.com/thread-75337.html

Quote:When viewing a thread, the post reply button (or any other mod/admin button in that area) appears to float awkwardly in between the thread title bar and the post rating.

Can you link to your forum so i can inspect that area (thread rating and new reply link).From that image i can't be sure what the cause is (on my localhost forum i don't have any problems with new reply and thread rating aligment).
Johnny,
Thanks for the assistance so far. I got everything updated with the jump and it looks great.

I hadn't made any modifications to the container or textarea, but after modifying the editor.js following the guides in the link you posted, I'm having a bit of an issue with a missing editor bar (I've got a request for additional support in on that thread).

The link to my boards is:
http://www.thewastelandoutpost.com/forums

I also had an additional question about the sidebar. I'm still trying to determine how much I/my members might get out of it, but is there a way to remove it entirely should we decide we don't need it?
Go to acp -> templates and styles -> templates -> bf3 templates -> index page templates -> index and replace all content inside with following

<html>
<head>
<title>{$mybb->settings['bbname']}</title>
{$headerinclude}
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
	lang.no_new_posts = "{$lang->no_new_posts}";
	lang.click_mark_read = "{$lang->click_mark_read}";
// -->
</script>
</head>
<body>
{$header}

                {$forums}

<div align="center">

    <a href="{$mybb->settings['bburl']}/misc.php?action=markread&amp;my_post_key={$mybb->post_code}">{$lang->markread}</a> | <a href="{$mybb->settings['bburl']}/showteam.php">{$lang->forumteam}</a>

</div>
<br />
                              {$boardstats}

{$footer}
</body>
</html>
.

Sidebar should be removed.

In header template find

<a href="#" id="separator" style="width: auto; height:auto;">
<img src="{$theme['imgdir']}/tools_sidebar.png" alt="sidebar" title="collapse / expand sidebar"/>
</a>

this will remove sidebar button.
Nice theme with wonderful transparency Smile

1)
how can i add table in bottom like below, to add modrator lists from showteam.php code
[Image: 74c67b9baf.png]
without collapsing the transparency

2)
i need to enable sidebox seperately or need to add any code, because not able to see any sidebox after installation Sad
Is there a way to use this theme without using jQuery? For some reason two users with it have been banned by the server firewall for cross-site scripting and the only thing that's changed was switching to this theme.

It's a fresh installation of 1.6.8 with this, so the only possible cause is the theme. (Nothing against you, it's just our server doesn't like it.)
You can,just remove jquery folder and revert member_profile (and member_profile_away) template to default.

I figured out what triggered mod_security: jquery.cookie.js

All I did was rename the file and the template including it. Problem solved.
