Hi,

was wondering whether its possible to display a image in background for calendar as its looks quite plain currently...its not a very important to do as it works fine, i was thinking of making it a little attractive if i can insert a image behind the calendar as a background...

you can modify your theme's calendar template to add required background image ...
admin panel --> templates --> active theme's templates --> Calendar Templates --> Calendar

you may add background image for body tag ... (eg. HTML body background Attribute)
