Hi,
I have removed the $subject variable from my newreply template because I don't want users to post replies with titles. While this works, it unfortunately breaks the post preview function. If you want to preview a post without a title, you will get an error message informing you that you can't preview the post because a title is missing.
Hiding the automatic post subject (RE: bla) with CSS is not an option since the possibility of making post titles is still physically there. One have only to unhide it via Firebug or something and then he can post titles.
So what it the proper way to remove post titles without breaking anything?
